Putin and Xi expected to hold talks this month
Budrigannews.com – The Russian business newspaper Vedomosti reported on Tuesday that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese leader Xi Jinping will hold talks in late December to discuss the events of 2022.
The newspaper was informed by the Kremlin’s spokesperson, Dmitry Peskov, that the meeting’s date and agenda are already known, but that an official announcement will be made later.
Later on Tuesday, during a daily briefing with reporters, Peskov stated that Xi and Putin were “in constant communication.”

“Added he: We are getting ready to carry on this conversation. We will promptly inform you when and how future interactions will occur.”
The paper, refering to a unidentified source near the Russian official organization said it was improbable that the gathering would be eye to eye.
“Subtleties are being worked out,” the source told Vedomosti.
Russia has drawn nearer to China since sending its military into Ukraine in February as Moscow looks to help its political, monetary and security relations with non-Western nations.
