Prada has appointed a new CEO
Budrigannews.com – Prada, an Italian fashion house listed in Hong Kong (OTC:) announced on Tuesday that it has appointed Gianfranco D’Attis, a former executive at Dior, as its flagship Prada brand’s chief executive officer, with an effective date of January 2.
The group stated in a statement, “His proven experience in the luxury sector, with a specific focus on retail, will help Prada to increase its growth potential in all geographies.”

The move was made to make it easier for the next generation of the founding family to take over as CEO of the Prada group, and it comes just a few days after Andrea Guerra was named CEO of Luxottica.
D’Attis was president of Christian Dior Americas in his last position.
