Poland stocks lower at close of trade; WIG30 down 0.58%

Investing.com – Poland stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Warsaw, the lost 0.58%.
The best performers of the session on the were Alior Bank SA (WA:), which rose 2.19% or 2.20 points to trade at 102.70 at the close. Meanwhile, Asseco Poland SA (WA:) added 1.40% or 1.25 points to end at 90.65 and mBank SA (WA:) was up 1.26% or 7.80 points to 627.60 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Eurocash SA (WA:), which fell 5.67% or 0.59 points to trade at 9.81 at the close. Tauron Polska Energia SA (WA:) declined 4.30% or 0.16 points to end at 3.54 and KGHM Polska Miedz SA (WA:) was down 3.69% or 5.25 points to 136.85.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 276 to 220 and 123 ended unchanged.
Shares in Eurocash SA (WA:) fell to 52-week lows; falling 5.67% or 0.59 to 9.81. Shares in Asseco Poland SA (WA:) rose to 52-week highs; rising 1.40% or 1.25 to 90.65.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.74% or 0.56 to $74.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.81% or 0.64 to hit $78.02 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.38% or 9.80 to trade at $2,543.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/PLN was up 0.30% to 4.29, while USD/PLN rose 0.81% to 3.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 100.86.
