Peloton Bikes to Feature Across Hilton’s Entire U.S. Portfolio
Budrigannews.com – Hilton (NYSE:) and Peloton (NASDAQ:) announced a partnership on Monday that will see the hotel giant become the first hospitality brand to feature Peloton Bikes across its entire U.S. hotel portfolio.
The Peloton bikes will feature in 18 of Hilton’s hotel brands, with nearly all 5,400 U.S. Hilton-branded hotels, such as Hampton by Hilton and Waldorf Astoria, featuring at least one Peloton Bike by the end of the year. In addition, the bikes will have access to Peloton’s instructors and connected fitness content. In addition, Hilton Honors members will get access to special offers, including a Peloton App trial.
“We recognize the importance for our Members to maintain their wellness routines while on the road, with data showing over 1.6 million Peloton rides completed globally on Peloton Bikes in hotels in the past year,” commented Betsy Webb, Global Vice President, Peloton Commercial.
The struggling connected fitness equipment company’s shares are up more than 7% Monday, while Hilton shares have gained just over 1%.
“This unique and exciting partnership with Peloton – a brand so many of our guests know and love – accelerates an important part of that equation, allowing us to enhance the stay with an innovative approach to fitness,” said Matt Schuyler, the chief brand officer at Hilton.
