Numerous victims in Nashville school shooting-Media

Budrigannews.com – Local officials said that a shooting at a private Christian school in Nashville, Tennessee, on Monday morning left multiple people dead before police “engaged” the gunman and killed him.
The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department announced in a tweet that the suspect had passed away but did not specify the circumstances surrounding his death. The shooting took place at The Covenant School. It didn’t say if the suspect was a man or a woman.
On Twitter, the Nashville Fire Department stated that it had arrived at the scene and found “multiple patients.” It did not specify how many people were injured or whether anyone was killed.
According to a statement released by the police on Twitter, “An active shooter event has taken place at Covenant School, Covenant Presbyterian Church, on Burton Hills Dr. The shooter was engaged by MNPD and is dead.”
According to the school’s website, the Covenant School, which was established in 2001 and has approximately 200 students, is a ministry of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Nashville. WTVF-TV reported that the school, which educates students from preschool through sixth grade, held an active shooter training program in 2022.
Calls for additional information were not immediately returned by Nashville police.
