Norway sends Leopard Tanks for war with Russia

Budrigannews.com – According to a statement made by Norway’s government on Tuesday, the NATO nation will contribute to the conflict in Ukraine by sending eight German-made Leopard 2 battle tanks and other equipment.
Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Stoere made the following statement: “It is more important than ever to support Ukraine’s fight for freedom.”
The precise selection of the four special purpose tanks from Norway’s armoured engineering and bridge layer category will depend on Ukraine’s greatest requirements, the company stated.
According to the defense ministry, Norway will also set aside funds for ammunition and spare parts.
There are a total of 36 Leopard 2 tanks in Norway, which has a border with Russia in the Arctic.
