Budrigannews.com – The spokesperson for the U.S. mission to the United Nations stated that the United States has requested a meeting of the United Nations Security Council on Friday to discuss North Korea’s attempted satellite launch this week.

The launch on Wednesday was North Korea’s attempt to launch its first spy satellite into space. However, the launch was unsuccessful, and the booster and payload fell into the ocean.

Washington censured the send off, saying it involved long range rocket innovation infringing upon various U.N. Security Board goals and gambled weakening the security circumstance in the locale and then some.

Since the United States and other nations have already launched “thousands of satellites,” Kim Yo Jong claimed in her statement that the criticisms of the launch were “self-contradiction.”
