Budrigannews.com – A terminal at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City will remain closed on Friday due to electrical issues, affecting both inbound and outbound flights, the airport announced in a tweet, causing activity to be disrupted at one of the busiest airports in the world.
“Visitors (NYSE:) “should check the status of their flights with their carriers before going to the airport,” JFK stated. It also stated that the Port Authority and the operator of the terminal are continuing their collaboration to restore flight operations as quickly as possible.
After the power went out on Thursday, JFK was working to accommodate affected flights using other terminals.
According to the airport’s website, some flights that were supposed to land at JFK were diverted to other East Coast airports.
