New home sales 640K vs. 650K forecast

Investing.com – New home sales in the U.S. rose unexpectedly last month, official data showed on Thursday.

In a report, the Census Bureau said that new home sales rose to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 640K, from 633K in the preceding month whose figure was revised down from 670K.

Analysts had expected new home sales to fall to 650K last month.
