‘Near Futures, Far-Fetched’ – A New NFT Book Detailing the Metaverse
- CENNZnet and Andy Blood announce a partnership to release ‘Near Futures, Far-Fetched.’
- The project is a collection of six short stories to be released as NFTs.
- Each of the six stories will go live every week from April 6 to May 11.
CENNZnet announced a partnership with Andy Blood to release “Near Futures, Far-Fetched”, a collection of six stories published as NFTs. The partnership will combine Blood’s knowledge as a former creative strategist at Facebook/Meta and CENNZnet’s empowerment of the metaverse.
The short story collection will be published alongside animated works. A blockchain-based community publishing event will host the formal launch of the project in April.
Each story NFT will be released in an edition of ten, exclusive on the Lithoverse platform. Every week, one book will go live from April 6 to May 11.

Near Futures, Far-Fetched Author Andy Blood had the following to say about the works:
I was able to create something unique for this series of books by working very closely with Liz Izmailova, Nicole Upchurch, and the CENNZnet team. What we created is not just easily readable, approachable, and enjoyable stories, but stories that themselves are embedded in the NFT itself.”
Meanwhile, CENNZnet CMO Nicole Upchurch commended Andy’s work in the series of books: “While many others have been narrowly focused on the Metaverse, Andy took the time to focus on the multiverse. Near Future, Far-Fetched follows the first collaboration between CENNZnet and Andy Blood in the project ‘Full Bleed’. The project took place in September and was considered a great success by thought leaders, technologists, and the Web3 Community.
