Mike Pence will not run for president of U.S.
Budrigannews.com – Devin O’Malley, Mike Pence’s adviser, stated on Twitter on Monday that the former vice president has not filed to run for president in 2024 after purported statement of candidacy filings appeared on the Federal Election Commission website.
Some news outlets, including Sky News in Britain, reported that Pence had filed to run for president in response to the filings, which were made public on a federal holiday in the United States. Twitter users also shared a link to the website.
O’Malley, who served as Pence’s press secretary while he was vice president, tweeted that “Former Vice President Mike Pence did not file to run for president today” and later confirmed to Reuters that he serves as Pence’s adviser.
The filings showed up on the FEC site as “crude” filings that presently can’t seem to be handled by the commission. Who had filed them was not clear.
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, according to a spokesperson, does not comment on specific filings, but the Commission does look at registration forms and reports that could be false or fictitious.
Pence caused then-President Donald Trump’s anger by declining to help his work to upset the aftereffects of the 2020 political race and has progressively limited any association with the previous president since Trump’s misfortune to Joe Biden.

Analysts say that if Pence decides to run for president in 2024, his chances of winning are slim. According to a RealClearPolitics average of polls, only 7% of primary voters planned to support the former vice president as of December.
