Midday Stock Movers: Teladoc, Meta, Caterpillar

Investing.com — US stocks are rising Thursday. Here are your midday movers for April 28th.
Meta Platforms (NASDAQ:FB) is still trading 14.7% above Wednesday’s close at midday after the Facebook parent beat earnings estimates, posting earnings per share of $2.72. Analysts polled by Investing.com expected earnings of $2.56 per share.
Qualcomm (NASDAQ:QCOM) has gained 6.9% after it also beat earnings estimates as well as revenue forecasts. The company reported EPS of $3.21 on revenue of $11.16 billion.
Teladoc Inc (NYSE:TDOC) stock has plunged more than 46% after the company reported a loss per share of $41.58. The telehealth company also missed revenue estimates and disappointed with revenue guidance.
O’Reilly Automotive (NASDAQ:ORLY) is down 8.85% after its earnings and revenue came in below estimates. Earnings were $7.17 per share, missing estimates of $7.49 per share.
Align Technology Inc (NASDAQ:ALGN) was another company that missed EPS and revenue estimates. Its stock is down after EPS was reported at $2.13, below the $2.30 forecast by analysts polled by Investing.com.
Caterpillar Inc (NYSE:CAT) stock has declined 5% after heavy equipment maker cut its full-year outlook due to uncertainties about demand in China. The company did, however, beat earnings and revenue estimates.
