Investing.com — U.S. indices fell Monday with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq declining more than 1%. Here are the midday movers on Monday, April 11th.
Nio (NYSE:NIO) stock is down 2.8%, clawing back some of its initial losses earlier in the session after it suspended production as a result of Covid-19 related supply chain issues.
Veru Inc (NASDAQ:VERU) is now up an enormous 196% after the drugmaker reported “overwhelming” efficacy for its experimental Covid-19 drug for treating hospitalized patients.
Sailpoint Technologies (NYSE:SAIL) trades 29% above Friday’s close after news that Thoma Bravo will acquire the firm for $6.9 billion, or $65.25 per share.
Hoth Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:HOTH) has more than doubled, rising 116% after the biotech startup revealed that a preclinical study showed its experimental cancer treatment successfully killed cancerous cells and stopped tumor growth.
JetBlue Airways (NASDAQ:JBLU) gained 2% following news that it plans to cut its summer schedule in an attempt to avoid flight disruptions as the company attempts to hire enough staff in preparation for the expected summer surge.
Datto Holding Corp (NYSE:MSP) has rallied 21% after Kaseya said it is acquiring the company for $35.50 per share. The deal values Datto at approximately $6.2 billion.
