Budrigannews.com – On Wednesday, Microsoft Corp. said that it was looking into a problem that was affecting several services, including Teams and Outlook. Outage reports said that the platforms were down for thousands of users worldwide.
(NASDAQ) Microsoft did not disclose the number of affected users, but data from the outage tracking website Downdetector showed over 3,900 incidents in India and over 900 incidents in Japan. Australia, Britain, and the United Arab Emirates also saw an increase in reports of outages.
Status reports from various sources, including user-submitted errors, are compiled on the Downdetector platform for the purpose of monitoring outages.
The majority of users were unable to use the Team application’s features, join calls, or exchange messages during the outage. #MicrosoftTeams became a popular hashtag on Twitter, where numerous users posted updates about the service disruption.
Businesses and educational institutions use Microsoft Teams, which is used by over 280 million people worldwide, to make calls, schedule meetings, and organize their workflow.
