Lam Research shares are down 33% from the beginning of the year, still down 34.21% from its 52 week high of $731.85 set on January 4. They are under-performing the S&P 500 which is down 6.43% from the start of the year.
Lam Research shares lost 2.38% in after-hours trade following the report.

ASML ADR had missed expectations on Wednesday with first quarter EPS of $1.88 on revenue of $3.84B, compared to forecast for EPS of $2.29 on revenue of $4.17B.
