Italy slashes 2023 GDP growth forecast to 0.6% from 2.4%, sources say

ROME (Reuters) – Italy’s outgoing government has slashed next year’s economic growth forecast to 0.6% from a 2.4% goal set in April, political sources told Reuters.
The cabinet approved new economic and public finance forecasts on Wednesday, which are expected to be released shortly.
