Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 1.13%
Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the fell 1.13%.
The best performers of the session on the were Delek Group (TASE:), which rose 2.57% or 1,450.00 points to trade at 57,900.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:) added 1.52% or 1,080.00 points to end at 72,150.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:) was up 0.85% or 1,260.00 points to 149,700.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:), which fell 4.44% or 590.00 points to trade at 12,700.00 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:) declined 4.23% or 124.00 points to end at 2,804.00 and OPKO Health Inc (TASE:) was down 3.44% or 23.40 points to 656.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 344 to 143 and 31 ended unchanged.
Shares in OPKO Health Inc (TASE:) fell to 52-week lows; down 3.44% or 23.40 to 656.00.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.95% or 0.79 to $83.73 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.89% or 0.80 to hit $90.63 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.24% or 4.05 to trade at $1,679.75 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.56% to 3.48, while EUR/ILS rose 0.65% to 3.43.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.59% at 110.99.
