Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Real Estate, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.96%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ), which rose 2.67% or 15.50 points to trade at 597.00 at the close. Meanwhile, OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) added 2.02% or 14.50 points to end at 732.00 and OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) was up 1.13% or 45.00 points to 4,033.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which fell 3.99% or 210.00 points to trade at 5,058.00 at the close. Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) declined 2.76% or 1,990.00 points to end at 70,000.00 and Mivne Real Estate KD Ltd (TASE:MVNE) was down 2.49% or 30.00 points to 1,175.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 300 to 181 and 40 ended unchanged.
Shares in Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) rose to 5-year highs; up 2.67% or 15.50 to 597.00.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.21% or 0.18 to $87.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.78% or 2.66 to hit $93.08 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.49% or 8.45 to trade at $1,714.15 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.33% to 3.42, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.12% to 3.39.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.59% at 110.16.
