Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.93%
Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Real Estate, Communication and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 declined 0.93%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE), which rose 1.02% or 35.00 points to trade at 3,470.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) added 0.99% or 1,800.00 points to end at 183,300.00 and Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA) was up 0.88% or 240.00 points to 27,410.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which fell 4.17% or 66.00 points to trade at 1,515.00 at the close. Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) declined 4.08% or 300.00 points to end at 7,056.00 and Shufersal (TASE:SAE) was down 3.51% or 83.00 points to 2,280.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 368 to 104 and 49 ended unchanged.
Shares in Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) fell to 52-week lows; falling 4.17% or 66.00 to 1,515.00. Shares in Shufersal (TASE:SAE) fell to 52-week lows; down 3.51% or 83.00 to 2,280.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.61% or 0.72 to $119.22 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.71% or 0.85 to hit $120.36 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.61% or 11.30 to trade at $1,855.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.41% to 3.34, while EUR/ILS rose 0.49% to 3.58.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 102.36.
