Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Real Estate, Banking and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.89%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which rose 3.39% or 103.00 points to trade at 3,145.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:KEN) added 2.12% or 390.00 points to end at 18,790.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 1.13% or 400.00 points to 35,900.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT), which fell 3.82% or 238.00 points to trade at 5,985.00 at the close. Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) declined 3.72% or 61.00 points to end at 1,580.00 and Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG) was down 3.59% or 281.00 points to 7,550.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 278 to 205 and 40 ended unchanged.
Shares in Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) fell to 52-week lows; falling 3.72% or 61.00 to 1,580.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.61% or 1.86 to $117.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.38% or 1.61 to hit $117.90 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 1.34% or 24.70 to trade at $1,873.40 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.49% to 3.33, while EUR/ILS rose 0.38% to 3.57.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.71% at 101.80.
