Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.71%
Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Insurance, Real Estate and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 fell 0.71%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ), which rose 1.81% or 10.20 points to trade at 573.20 at the close. Meanwhile, Strauss Group (TASE:STRS) added 1.50% or 131.00 points to end at 8,866.00 and Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG) was up 0.83% or 230.00 points to 27,980.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG), which fell 2.74% or 1,590.00 points to trade at 56,350.00 at the close. Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA) declined 2.71% or 81.00 points to end at 2,913.00 and Harel (TASE:HARL) was down 2.50% or 95.00 points to 3,705.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 314 to 169 and 38 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.94% or 2.63 to $86.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 3.11% or 2.97 to hit $92.67 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.03% or 17.75 to trade at $1,708.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 1.78% to 3.39, while EUR/ILS rose 0.75% to 3.37.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.83% at 109.57.
