Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Banking, Financials and Biomed sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.60%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Ormat Technologies (TASE:ORA), which rose 2.53% or 700.00 points to trade at 28,390.00 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) added 1.89% or 61.00 points to end at 3,288.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was up 1.87% or 2,930.00 points to 159,830.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which fell 4.47% or 210.00 points to trade at 4,490.00 at the close. Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:KEN) declined 2.98% or 420.00 points to end at 13,680.00 and Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) was down 2.96% or 48.00 points to 1,576.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 313 to 171 and 34 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.59% or 1.54 to $95.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.72% or 0.72 to hit $99.47 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.18% or 3.10 to trade at $1,716.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.24% to 3.45, while EUR/ILS fell 0.72% to 3.49.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.63% at 107.03.
