Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.53%
Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Biomed, Technology and Real Estate sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 lost 0.53%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:ESLT), which rose 3.30% or 2,530.00 points to trade at 79,200.00 at the close. Meanwhile, OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) added 3.30% or 30.80 points to end at 964.00 and Bezeq Israeli Telecommunication Corp Ltd (TASE:BEZQ) was up 0.70% or 3.80 points to 549.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Maytronics (TASE:MTRN), which fell 3.52% or 173.00 points to trade at 4,745.00 at the close. Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) declined 3.25% or 158.00 points to end at 4,709.00 and Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:AMOT) was down 3.13% or 69.00 points to 2,134.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 280 to 187 and 44 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.34% or 0.33 to $95.51 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.65% or 0.65 to hit $98.84 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.70% or 12.15 to trade at $1,736.95 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.81% to 3.45, while EUR/ILS fell 0.16% to 3.49.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 107.50.
