Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the lost 0.45%.
The best performers of the session on the were Camtek Ltd (TASE:), which rose 2.62% or 640.00 points to trade at 25,040.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:) added 2.55% or 104.00 points to end at 4,189.00 and NICE Ltd (TASE:) was up 1.45% or 1,030.00 points to 72,000.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energix (TASE:), which fell 2.89% or 39.00 points to trade at 1,311.00 at the close. Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:) declined 2.09% or 42.00 points to end at 1,971.00 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:) was down 1.93% or 93.00 points to 4,714.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 263 to 192 and 82 ended unchanged.
Shares in Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:) rose to 52-week highs; up 2.55% or 104.00 to 4,189.00.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 2.44% or 1.76 to $73.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.69% or 1.31 to hit $78.90 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 2.60 to trade at $2,052.60 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.88% to 3.68, while EUR/ILS rose 0.86% to 4.03.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 102.14.
