Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the lost 0.02%.
The best performers of the session on the were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:), which rose 5.37% or 159.00 points to trade at 3,121.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Delek Group (TASE:) added 2.97% or 1,240.00 points to end at 43,000.00 and Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:) was up 2.11% or 1,570.00 points to 75,860.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:), which fell 8.74% or 501.00 points to trade at 5,230.00 at the close. Energix (TASE:) declined 2.62% or 32.00 points to end at 1,190.00 and Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:) was down 2.31% or 162.00 points to 6,848.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 231 to 229 and 38 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for June delivery was down 1.44% or 1.05 to $71.78 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 1.49% or 1.15 to hit $75.81 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 1.35% or 26.85 to trade at $1,958.05 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.21% to 3.65, while EUR/ILS fell 0.57% to 3.92.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.68% at 103.43.
