Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.79%
Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the Real Estate, Banking and Communication sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 1.79%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which rose 9.87% or 484.00 points to trade at 5,390.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Strauss Group (TASE:STRS) added 5.02% or 420.00 points to end at 8,779.00 and OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) was up 4.75% or 41.50 points to 915.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:TSEM), which fell 0.68% or 110.00 points to trade at 16,020.00 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) declined 0.46% or 15.00 points to end at 3,235.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was down 0.37% or 600.00 points to 160,300.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 393 to 105 and 28 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for August delivery was up 2.68% or 2.79 to $107.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in September unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $109.10 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.70 to trade at $1,828.10 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 1.07% to 3.41, while EUR/ILS fell 0.82% to 3.60.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 103.89.
