Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.40%
Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Communication, Real Estate and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 rose 1.40%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:ASHG), which rose 6.00% or 392.00 points to trade at 6,930.00 at the close. Meanwhile, OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) added 5.41% or 43.30 points to end at 844.00 and Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) was up 4.79% or 64.00 points to 1,400.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Liveperson (TASE:LPSN), which fell 1.06% or 46.00 points to trade at 4,281.00 at the close. ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) declined 0.84% or 30.00 points to end at 3,528.00 and Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) was 0.00% or 0.00 points to 173,280.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 296 to 195 and 34 ended unchanged.
Shares in Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) fell to 3-years lows; losing 1.06% or 46.00 to 4,281.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.51% or 1.79 to $117.14 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 1.02% or 1.23 to hit $119.94 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.54% or 9.75 to trade at $1,823.25 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.43% to 3.45, while EUR/ILS fell 0.62% to 3.59.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 105.31.
