Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.22%
Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the gained 1.22%.
The best performers of the session on the were Shikun & Binui (TASE:), which rose 26.02% or 174.60 points to trade at 846.00 at the close. Meanwhile, OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:) added 6.21% or 166.00 points to end at 2,840.00 and Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:) was up 4.55% or 480.00 points to 11,020.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Delek Group (TASE:), which fell 3.28% or 1,300.00 points to trade at 38,390.00 at the close. Newmed Energy LP (TASE:) declined 2.76% or 29.00 points to end at 1,022.00 and Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:) was down 1.80% or 107.00 points to 5,833.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 319 to 139 and 34 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for May delivery was up 1.79% or 1.33 to $75.70 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.70% or 1.34 to hit $79.94 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.54% or 10.70 to trade at $1,987.00 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.18% to 3.60, while EUR/ILS fell 0.37% to 3.90.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.46% at 102.29.
