Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the added 1.20%.
The best performers of the session on the were Israel Corp (TASE:), which rose 4.49% or 6,200.00 points to trade at 144,200.00 at the close. Meanwhile, ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:) added 4.06% or 115.00 points to end at 2,949.00 and Electra Ltd (TASE:) was up 3.86% or 7,800.00 points to 210,000.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were OPKO Health Inc (TASE:), which fell 3.60% or 25.40 points to trade at 680.00 at the close. Delek Group (TASE:) declined 2.94% or 1,680.00 points to end at 55,370.00 and Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:) was down 2.73% or 83.00 points to 2,955.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 283 to 198 and 29 ended unchanged.
Shares in OPKO Health Inc (TASE:) fell to 52-week lows; down 3.60% or 25.40 to 680.00.
Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.25% or 0.21 to $84.97 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.22% or 0.20 to hit $91.55 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.25% or 4.25 to trade at $1,679.25 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.64% to 3.44, while EUR/ILS rose 0.59% to 3.45.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 109.47.
