Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 1.05%

Budrigannews.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Banking, Financials and Insurance sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 1.05%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd (TASE:TEVA), which rose 21.12% or 526.00 points to trade at 3,016.00 at the close. Meanwhile, OPC Energy Ltd (TASE:OPCE) added 1.91% or 70.00 points to end at 3,730.00 and Nova (TASE:NVMI) was up 1.67% or 580.00 points to 35,330.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL), which fell 7.00% or 230.00 points to trade at 3,058.00 at the close. Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) declined 6.39% or 10,220.00 points to end at 149,610.00 and Nice Ltd (TASE:NICE) was down 1.57% or 1,100.00 points to 68,900.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 278 to 208 and 37 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for September delivery was up 2.47% or 2.35 to $97.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 1.88% or 1.87 to hit $101.33 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.00% or 0.05 to trade at $1,717.65 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.68% to 3.42, while EUR/ILS fell 0.80% to 3.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.22% at 107.28.
