Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.83%
Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Banking, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.83%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL), which rose 5.42% or 183.00 points to trade at 3,558.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) added 4.39% or 7,280.00 points to end at 173,280.00 and Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:KEN) was up 3.69% or 630.00 points to 17,720.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN), which fell 4.71% or 66.00 points to trade at 1,336.00 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) declined 4.17% or 34.80 points to end at 800.00 and Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) was down 3.09% or 138.00 points to 4,327.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 276 to 205 and 36 ended unchanged.
Shares in Shikun & Binui (TASE:SKBN) fell to 52-week lows; down 4.71% or 66.00 to 1,336.00. Shares in OPKO Health Inc (TASE:OPK) fell to 52-week lows; down 4.17% or 34.80 to 800.00. Shares in Liveperson (TASE:LPSN) fell to 3-years lows; losing 3.09% or 138.00 to 4,327.00.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 1.22% or 1.48 to $122.41 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.38% or 1.69 to hit $123.96 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.98% or 18.00 to trade at $1,813.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.29% to 3.47, while EUR/ILS rose 0.46% to 3.62.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.22% at 105.19.
