Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.74%
Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Communication and Banking sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 gained 0.74%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:ENOG), which rose 4.51% or 232.00 points to trade at 5,378.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) added 4.34% or 2,450.00 points to end at 58,840.00 and Newmed Energy LP (TASE:NWMDp) was up 3.29% or 32.00 points to 1,005.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Shapir Engineering Industry (TASE:SPEN), which fell 2.32% or 74.00 points to trade at 3,118.00 at the close. Airport City Ltd (TASE:ARPT) declined 1.69% or 118.00 points to end at 6,845.00 and Strauss Group (TASE:STRS) was down 1.66% or 153.00 points to 9,038.00.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 258 to 225 and 35 ended unchanged.
Shares in Delek Group (TASE:DLEKG) rose to 52-week highs; up 4.34% or 2,450.00 to 58,840.00.
Crude oil for October delivery was up 3.34% or 3.02 to $93.38 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 3.16% or 3.05 to hit $99.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.79% or 13.75 to trade at $1,762.15 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.86% to 3.26, while EUR/ILS fell 0.53% to 3.25.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.55% at 108.39.
