Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.35%
Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Communication and Real Estate sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 35 added 0.35%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 35 were Azrieli Group Ltd (TASE:AZRG), which rose 3.91% or 920.00 points to trade at 24,440.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Melisron (TASE:MLSR) added 3.87% or 890.00 points to end at 23,900.00 and Energix (TASE:ENRG) was up 3.78% or 40.00 points to 1,099.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kenon Holdings Ltd (TASE:KEN), which fell 5.36% or 1,040.00 points to trade at 18,380.00 at the close. Israel Corp (TASE:ILCO) declined 2.89% or 5,300.00 points to end at 178,000.00 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:ICL) was down 2.03% or 75.00 points to 3,626.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 245 to 225 and 40 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for July delivery was up 2.22% or 2.65 to $122.06 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 2.37% or 2.86 to hit $123.43 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.40% or 7.35 to trade at $1,859.45 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.35% to 3.33, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.01% to 3.57.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 102.32.
