Inflation in Mexico is below analysts’ forecast in 2022
Budrigannews.com – The national statistics agency reported on Monday that Mexican consumer prices increased by 7.82 percent from January to December, which was slightly lower than anticipated but still reflected an increase in inflation.
Non-seasonally adjusted data indicate that in December, consumer prices increased by 0.38 percent.
The core index, which excludes some volatile energy and food prices, increased by 0.65 percent in the month and reached 8.35 percent for the year.

Reuters polled economists and found that they anticipated annual headline inflation of 7.85 percent and core inflation of 8.35 percent.
