India’s October wholesale prices rise 2.36% on year

NEW DELHI (Reuters) – India’s wholesale price-based inflation accelerated to 2.36% year-on-year in October, from 1.84% in September, government data released on Thursday showed.

Economists polled by Reuters had estimated wholesale price inflation at 2.2%.
