Ian Goes from Storm to Hurricane

Budrigannews.com – The National Hurricane Center (NHC) announced in its most recent advisory on Monday that Ian has strengthened into a hurricane and is anticipated to have significant impacts from wind and storm surge in western Cuba.

The hurricane has sustained winds of 75 miles per hour (120 kilometers per hour) and is about 90 miles (150 kilometers) southwest of Grand Cayman.
