Budrigannews.com – The Wall Street Journal, citing FDA officials, reported on Tuesday that the FDA plans to issue recommendations on how to regulate the popular cannabis compound CBD’s use in food and supplements.
According to the report, the FDA will decide within months how to regulate legal cannabis and whether this will require new agency rules or new legislation from Congress after weighing the evidence regarding the compound’s safety.
