Hackers broke into the FBI computer network in New York-CNN

Budrigannews.com -According to people briefed on the situation, CNN reported on Friday that computers at the FBI’s New York office were hacked in what the agency described as a now-contained isolated incident.
In a statement, the FBI said, “The FBI is aware of the incident and is working to gain additional information.” It also said that its investigation into the malicious cyber activity is ongoing. This is a one-off occurrence that has been contained.
The date and time of the cyber incident were not immediately known. According to one source, the incident’s origin is still under investigation.
It was not immediately possible to obtain a response regarding the report from representatives of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
According to two briefed sources, officials with the FBI believe that the incident involved bureau computers used to investigate child sexual exploitation.
