Greece stocks higher at close of trade; Athens General Composite up 0.88%

Investing.com – Greece stocks were higher after the close on Friday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Athens, the rose 0.88%.
The best performers of the session on the were Elvalhalcor Hellenic Copper and Aluminium Industry SA (AT:), which rose 3.89% or 0.07 points to trade at 1.87 at the close. Meanwhile, Fourlis Hld (AT:) added 3.63% or 0.14 points to end at 4.00 and Kri-Kri Milk (AT:) was up 3.33% or 0.40 points to 12.40 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Premia AE (AT:), which fell 0.85% or 0.01 points to trade at 1.17 at the close. Biokarpet Industrial and Commercial Enterprises SA (AT:) declined 0.77% or 0.02 points to end at 1.93 and Alumil (AT:) was down 0.70% or 0.02 points to 2.84.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Athens Stock Exchange by 76 to 47 and 16 ended unchanged.
Shares in Kri-Kri Milk (AT:) rose to all time highs; rising 3.33% or 0.40 to 12.40.
Gold Futures for December delivery was up 1.01% or 26.10 to $2,606.70 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October rose 1.78% or 1.23 to hit $70.20 a barrel, while the November Brent oil contract rose 1.63% or 1.17 to trade at $73.14 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.14% to 1.11, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.08% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.38% at 100.97.
