GM workers at Texas plants vote to approve labor deal

(Reuters) – More than 60% of United Auto Workers union members at General Motors (NYSE:)’ Arlington, Texas assembly plant voted to approve a new labor deal through April 2028.
The UAW said 52% of 22,150 workers had voted to approve the deal, a tally that does not include Arlington, which has about 5,000 UAW members. Voting ends on Thursday at 4 p.m. ET.
