Germany’s Rheinmetall received order for auto parts for EV
Budrigannews.com – In a statement on Monday, the industrial group announced that Germany’s Rheinmetall had received a contract worth more than a quarter of a billion euros in the electromobility market.
A premium German automaker would receive a novel type of contactor from Rheinmetall for the 900-volt generation of electrically powered vehicles.
According to Rheinmetall, contactors are electrically controlled switches that ensure the safety of turning on and off electric vehicles.
According to the statement made by the company, Rheinmetall will provide tens of millions of these contactors for the automaker’s new vehicle platform beginning in 2025.
