Germany will allocate 50 million for Ukraine
Budrigannews.com – German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock stated on Tuesday at a donors’ conference in Paris that Germany will approve another 50 million euros, or 52.68 million dollars, in winter aid for Ukraine in response to Russian attacks on the country’s energy infrastructure.
In addition, Berlin pledged 160 million euros earlier this year at a conference in Bucharest.
Baerbock stated that Germany was working to deliver generators, blankets, and heating fuel to Ukraine over Christmas due to power shortages in many areas of the country as a result of Russia’s destruction of power plants.

The German minister told reporters that the Russian president wants to break the Ukrainian people, “and we will not allow this.”
In recent weeks, Russia, which invaded Ukraine in February, has increased its attacks on energy facilities, claiming that strikes on essential infrastructure are legitimate from a military perspective. According to Ukraine, acts of violence against civilians are war crimes.
