Germany stocks lower at close of trade; DAX down 0.29%
Budrigannews.com – Germany stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Frankfurt, the lost 0.29%, while the index lost 1.53%, and the index declined 0.69%.
The best performers of the session on the were Munich Reinsurance (ETR:), which rose 3.69% or 9.20 points to trade at 258.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Hannover Rueck SE (ETR:) added 2.75% or 4.25 points to end at 158.80 and Deutsche Boerse AG (ETR:) was up 2.26% or 3.55 points to 160.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Adidas AG (ETR:), which fell 9.53% or 10.94 points to trade at 103.86 at the close. Puma SE (ETR:) declined 7.29% or 3.45 points to end at 43.85 and Zalando SE (ETR:) was down 3.16% or 0.74 points to 22.70.
The top performers on the MDAX were Hella KGaA Hueck & Co (ETR:) which rose 1.06% to 71.55, Commerzbank AG O.N. (ETR:) which was up 1.05% to settle at 8.05 and Talanx AG NA O.N. (ETR:) which gained 0.94% to close at 36.60.
The worst performers were Scout24 AG (ETR:) which was down 7.26% to 50.32 in late trade, Delivery Hero AG (ETR:) which lost 6.78% to settle at 34.26 and Varta AG (ETR:) which was down 4.69% to 27.64 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Verbio Vereinigte Bioenergie AG (ETR:) which rose 2.38% to 75.35, Nordex SE O.N. (ETR:) which was up 2.19% to settle at 8.57 and SAP SE (ETR:) which gained 1.75% to close at 91.40.
The worst performers were Varta AG (ETR:) which was down 4.69% to 27.64 in late trade, Morphosys AG O.N. (ETR:) which lost 4.31% to settle at 21.53 and United Internet AG NA (ETR:) which was down 2.71% to 18.48 at the close.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 431 to 235 and 89 ended unchanged.

EUR/USD was up 0.60% to 0.98, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.38% to 0.87.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.74% at 111.98.
