Germany is waiting for a decision from the US on subsidies-Scholz
Budrigannews.com – On Tuesday, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz expressed optimism that disagreements between the United States and the European Union regarding the $430 billion green energy subsidy package known as the U.S. Inflation Reduction Act would be resolved.
Scholz told reporters at a news conference in Albania, “I am confident that this will involve a lot of work, a lot of effort, and certainly a lot of decisive discussions, but that in the end we will find a solution that we can all live with — the USA, the European Union, and its member states.”
Numerous EU nations are concerned that the subsidy package will unfairly disadvantage their businesses in comparison to rivals in the United States.
