German business plans to raise prices on holidays

According to the Ifo economic institute’s survey, toy retailers’ price expectations particularly increased significantly in November, rising to 94.4 points from 75.4 points the month before.
On the survey barometer, food retailers, stationery stores, drugstores, and clothing manufacturers all scored above 90 points. On the other hand, the paper industry fell into negative territory, indicating that it is preparing for lower sales prices.
