Gazprom and Turkey discuss gas supplies

Budrigannews.com – Head of Russian energy conglomerate Gazprom, Alexei Miller (MCX:), met Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul and talked about the possibilities for the Turkish gas center as well as Russian gas supplies to Turkey, Gazprom said on Friday.

After blasts in September damaged the Nord Stream pipelines under the Baltic Sea, Russian President Vladimir Putin suggested Turkey as a base for gas supplies.

Tayyip Erdogan, the president of Turkey, has stated that he supports the concept.
