G7 finance leaders: Closely monitoring market volatility

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Group of Seven finance leaders on Wednesday said they will “continue to closely monitor global markets given recent volatility.”

“Recognising that many currencies have moved significantly this year with increased volatility, we reaffirm our exchange rate commitments as elaborated in May 2017,” according to the G7 statement released by the U.S. Treasury Department.
