Ford (F) Halts Mach-E Sales Due to Safety Recall with No Current Fix

David Johnson, Director of Service Engineering Operations for Ford (NYSE:F) released a notice to all U.S. Ford and Lincoln dealers yesterday, instructing them to halt demonstrations and deliveries of all 2021-2022 Mustang Mach-E Models produced between May 27, 2020, and May 24, 2022, due to a problem that requires a safety recall.

According to the notice:

The notice explains that Ford doesn’t expect to have a fix for the problem and that “A complete Dealer Bulletin will be provided to dealers in the 3rd quarter of 2022 when it is anticipated that software and/or parts ordering information and repair instructions will be available.”
