Budrigannews.com – On Thursday, a house fire in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, claimed the lives of eight people. Police said the fire was being investigated as a homicide.
According to police, neighbors in the Tulsa suburb of about 40,000 people reported the fire around 4 p.m. (2100 GMT). There were few details about what happened or who was killed provided by officials.
Ethan Hutchins, a spokesperson for the Broken Arrow Police Department, stated to reporters, “Preliminary reports are that this is going to be a homicide investigation.” We are still concentrating on fighting the fire and looking into what happened to these victims.”
He would not discuss any search for a suspect.
Hutchins stated that it was a “complex scene” and that agents from the United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives were called in to assist with the investigation.
Broken Arrow is obviously shocked by this. “Huthcins stated that it is a safe city.” As a result, we are requesting that the community please pray and unite because this is not something that our city typically experiences.
