Finland stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Helsinki 25 down 1.14%

Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the declined 1.14% to hit a new 1-month low.
The best performers of the session on the were Fortum Oyj (HE:), which rose 0.37% or 0.05 points to trade at 13.53 at the close. Meanwhile, Metsa Board Oyj B (HE:) added 0.28% or 0.01 points to end at 4.94 and Neste Oyj (HE:) was down 0.03% or 0.01 points to 14.68 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Qt Group Oyj (HE:), which fell 18.31% or 15.65 points to trade at 69.80 at the close. Nokian Renkaat Oyj (HE:) declined 3.81% or 0.30 points to end at 7.62 and Valmet Oyj (HE:) was down 2.78% or 0.67 points to 23.39.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 126 to 51 and 12 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for January delivery was up 0.73% or 0.53 to $72.69 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December rose 0.82% or 0.56 to hit $69.17 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.77% or 49.60 to trade at $2,751.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.04% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP rose 0.76% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 104.03.
